ENERCOM 2012
Crossover to the Future

Thank you to over 260 delegates along with our valued sponsors, guest speakers and exhibitors, for making ENERCOM 2012, the premier energy sector event in Canada, a great success!

ENERCOM 2012 explored the next 100 years by bringing an impressive roster of attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and guest speakers from the electricity and energy sectors for two-days of programming and exhibits. With this year’s theme of Crossover to the Future, researchers, visionaries, academics, technology experts and thought leaders each explored the future of innovation, business, personal lifestyle, communications, education, health care and, of course, energy! The program was divided into three spheres: Economic, Technology and Social and our guest speakers each highlighted important trends, impacts and considerations for business in the electricity sector moving forward.

Feedback pays back!
Thank you to our delegates for completing their feedback forms on Day 1 and Day 2 – your comments and opinions are invaluable and are incorporated into planning for future events. Of course, there is also an incentive for submitting them and this year’s prize for each day was a new BlackBerry PlayBook 2 tablet with case, sponsored by Gowlings. Congratulations to our winners:

Day 1 : Wilf Meston, Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro Inc.

Day 2 : Al Merlo, Merlo Electric Inc.

About ENERCOM

Each year, ENERCOM brings together senior management representatives from organizations that comprise all segments of the energy industry in Canada including: generation, transmission and distribution as well as government and other agencies that play a role in the regulation and supply and demand of electricity in Canada.
